Keep on truckin'...

You have the makings of a being not just great but EPIC animator. I watch a lot of flash toons and you have to be in my top 5 artists. I love your art style; the stories seem to be sort of firth-like, but I think it's better cause the animation is smoother and it just seems more artisitc and professional. Keep it up, best of luck to you and your promising career in animation.

Hey, thanks. I wouldn't say I was better than Firth though- My stuff just relies on visual humour more. But his scripting and dialogue and just the general feel of his work blows me completely out of the water.

Very Professional

You're only 17 years old? This looks like the works of an experienced animator, like something I'd see at a foreign movie festival. Really talented, thanks for making me feel old!

Stunning animation but flawed story

The animation of these Jerry toons are absolutely stunning, and they have highly influenced my own artwork; However, this toon is greatly flawed in a story telling sense. I have seen all the Jerry's, and to end the series at this point in the timeline makes no sense. I think the series would have ended better with Junior. We already know that Jerry will kill himself, and that Jackie screws him over, so the "happy" ending just doesn't make sense. There's no closure! Jerry has already been the protagonist in the previous toons, you could have done something better if you just focused on Joanna instead; Jackie was by far the best of the series. But again, amazing animation, you are truely a talented individual, but take some short story classes or something if you want a 10 from this guy!

I would give it a 9 but

i think this deserves a better score than a 3.7. it should be above a four; the animation is strong. the story though, i think it just needs to be more fluid and better structured. it was kinda all over the place and you changed the music too much; i know what you were going for, but your not as good as a john k. from ren and stimpy yet to pull this off. keep working though, u got potential and i look forward to future submissions.

Amazing animation, pretty good story

The animation is top-nitch, some of the best ever on newgrounds in terms of style. Hotdiggedy is getting better at his stories, but still has room for improvement. There are some pretty bad holes; most notably how Jackie suddenly got her own car when she drove to the beach. Hmmm, I'd rather sleep in the car than on a park bench; unless she was able to afford it from working at the convenient store...um, probably not. Anywho, amazing animation.

pretay dumb!

don't rely so much on tweens!

Funky-Chickin responds:

tweens rock, and my FBF sucks!

Someone has to stand up for Harry!!

This flash, in my opinion, deserved to win the tank award. I am shocked why so many people are so bitter about it winning. I like Harry's animation style much better that There she is. I wasn't gonna write a review but someone has to defend this cause too many people are putting it down for winning.

Lame!

Goes to show you that when you build up your name, you could take a dump and people will say it was good. Make something worth while buddy!

Classic Firth!

I'm a big fan of The Pulch, the Men from up the Stairs etc... This is among Firth's best. His animation isn't getting much better, but it doesn't have to. It's his imagery and style that drives his work. I wish he would make as much toons as he used to though.

Firth is one of the best...

Firth is, without question, one of the best flash artists out there in my opinion. I've watched this one bout 3 or 4 times now, and his use of imagery is incredible. Reminds me of the Beatles' Yellow Submarine. As far as what it is about; Well, my best guess is a metaphor about popping a woody and all the characters are the hormones. Firth doesn't make it quite clear actually but at least he makes you think which is more than I can say than 99% of the other crap I see. Keep em' comin!

I'm a filmmaker and animator from Chicago. I've made one 30 min. short film (with both cartoon and live action) that's been accepted to film festivals, and I am currently working on my first feature length.
